One person has reported that they’re having problems downloading leagues (actually think he can’t download the file information for the leagues, so it kicks him back to the league selection page).  Anyone else having trouble? Looking for hints to the problem… I’m guessing it’s using the phone-Internet connection rather than a wi-fi connection.

Finally, (perhaps it was my email asking them what the story was?), version 1.0.4 is ready at the App store.. buy it or upgrade to it.

don’t know what’s taking Apple so long on version 1.0.4…

In Apple’s review “process”.  I’m putting the first set of submitted files on the servers today so if it gets approved (it usually takes about this long), these files will be available:

1927 season
1941 season
1964 season
1987 season (the year Earl Weaver Baseball for the Amiga was released)
2008 season

I’ve only checked to make sure that their formats [...]

expanded help
bug fixes for animation speed issue, bullpen issue, historical rosters and other report issues and, as always, obscure memory fixes.

Finally!!!  This was much more time consuming than I thought.
The main new feature is the ability to download stats files into the App.  Folks can create stats files using Earl Weaver Baseball II (yes, it still works!) or igiBall (found at www.bangbangplay.com … while it is shareware, the ability to create league files is in [...]

Yes, still working away on the next release… there will be the ability to download stats directly into the App… it’s close, but still working out the kinks… will be more news soon I hope.
There have also been a few bugs reported that I’ll try to resolve (one for sure, the Fast Animation bug that [...]

Working on a system to allow users to create league (aka season) files and upload them here.
These league files will work with BOTH “EWB Baseball” (iPhone) and “I Got it Baseball” (igiBall) for Windows.
Users can create league files by using igiBall which can be downloaded here: bangbangplay.com for free.

Most of the reported bugs are addressed and I appreciate all the help and good wishes (several vociferous nay-sayers out there, but you folks here have been really helpful with both positive feedback and constructive criticism.
Next up:  Season play (including managing/playing YOUR team) and downloadable stats/seasons.
